About MCO
Marnie’s Creative Outlet started 13 years ago when some friends and I decided to get together and make art. We used the studio in my garage and started having art gatherings.
Then, through art meetups, more and more people joined me to make art and be creative. Adults of all abilities and talents found an authentic art experience in my studio!
In August 2024, Marnie’s Creative Outlet found it’s new home! A wonderful new space in Webster Groves with so much charm and good energy.
I can’t wait for you to come be inspired and find YOUR creative outlet with me!
Meet Marnie
of Marnie’s Creative Outlet
Hi, my name is Marnie! I have 25+ years experience teaching art. What is most gratifying to me is helping people find their creativity and joy through art making.
I love being able to help people experience the therapeutic effects of working with their hands, exploring a new medium, developing new skills, using their imagination and creating amazing art pieces.
“I’ve had the pleasure of attending several of Marnie’s art workshops, and each experience has been fantastic. Her studio has a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that instantly puts even the most hesitant beginners at ease. Marnie is not only incredibly friendly but also has a real talent for breaking down techniques in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand. She guides each group with patience and clarity, making sure everyone leaves with a greater sense of confidence and skill. I always walk away from her workshops having learned so much more than I expected!”

“Love the “Grown Folks Art Club!” Even if you don’t fancy yourself an artist, this is a place for anyone who wants creative play with guidance and support from teaching artists. BONUS: how therapeutic it is to meet new people and commune with others while making art in this delightful little studio in Webster Groves!!♥️”

“I loved the class I took at Marnie's. It was with a guest instructor who was very engaging, and Marnie was also there providing assistance. It was welcoming, challenging, supportive, and a blast. I highly recommend.. There were all skill levels in the class.”
