Art Workshops
Linocut
Carve linoleum to create a linocut “stamp”. Print on paper, cards, fabric, shirts, towels, napkins.
Embossed Copper
Use techniques of repousse and chasing (Pushing copper from the front and back) to create relief copper designs. Create hanging art, window decor, ornaments.
Etched Copper
Draw designs on copper, submerge in acid to etch. Make copper art, earrings, pendants, cuffs.
Pour Painting
Mix and layer paint to pour, drip, drizzle on canvas, wood, glassware.
Intaglio
Create drypoint etchings. Scratch into plexiglass, ink & print with printing press.
Tape Painting
Use tape to create interesting designs and compositions. Paint and remove tape to reveal finished design.
Alcohol Ink
Create vibrant designs on coasters, trivets, glassware, ornaments, and jewelry using alcohol ink.
Polymer Clay
Create marbled, checkered, spiral designs with polymer clay for earrings, pendants, and miniature art.
Paste Paper
Layer, scrape, brush paste paint to create colorful textured papers.
Basket Making
Use traditional basket making methods to create woven reed and coil baskets with natural and contemporary materials.
Painting
Use an artist, technique or theme to inspire a painting.
Marbled Paper
Float colors on marbling solution and create designs to be printed on papers.
Macrame
Create plant hangers, bracelets, key chains, wall art with string, twine and cord.

Youth & Teen Art Clubs
Offering a creative space with support for youth (9-12yrs) & teens (13-18 yrs) to make art and explore media. A fun and friendly environment for teens. Marnie Claunch, certified art teacher of 25+ years will facilitate activities including drawing, painting, printmaking, fiber arts, crafts and studio time.
Thursdays & Fridays 4:30-6:00

Grown Folks Art Club
The Grown Folks Art Club provides refuge from a hectic world to art-curious adult beginners. Providing fun, insightful instruction on art methods, theories, history, and ideas, the GFAC is a warm, welcoming space for all the grown folks, regardless of skill level.
